She Leads Justice led the coalition which established a Paid Sick and Safe Days law in Connecticut. Paid Sick and Safe Days makes it possible for most employees in the state to accumulate up to 40 hours of paid sick time per year. Employees may use this time to care for themselves or a loved one while dealing with an illness, injury, or health condition.

Gender Wage Discrimination PA 21-30
She Leads Justice led the coalition to address gender and race wage discrimination in the workplace by requiring employers to provide equal pay for comparablevwork and to provide employees and applicants with wage ranges for their positions. This law is sometimes called the Salary Transparency Law.
Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) PA 19-25
After several years of sustained efforts, in 2019, She Leads Justice led the coalition which helped pass PFML in Connecticut. This Act made it possible
for most employees in the state to be entitled to 12 weeks of paid leave to bond with a new child, care for themselves or a loved one with a serious illness, or to handle a military exigency.
